Foreigners Law

You're Not Really a Stranger

Being a foreigner in Türkiye is not always easy.

Sometimes the problem is the language. Sometimes it is paperwork. Sometimes two different government offices tell you completely different things on the same day.

And sometimes the real difficulty is simply not knowing how the system actually works.

Over the years, I worked with both individuals and companies from many different countries. Business owners, employees, investors, families, startup founders, people trying to relocate, and sometimes people who suddenly found themselves inside a legal process they never expected.

Most of the time, the legal issue itself is only one part of the problem.

The rest is usually uncertainty.

Direct Communication

All communication can be handled directly in English, both written and verbal.

No translators. No unnecessary intermediaries.

And yes, I can provide limited support in Japanese when absolutely necessary.

Hopefully we survive with English.

Areas of Support

I provide legal support in matters such as:

  • residence permit applications and renewals
  • work permits and related objections
  • Turkish citizenship applications
  • investment based citizenship procedures
  • deportation cases and administrative litigation
  • migration related disputes
  • company formation processes in Türkiye
  • employment structures for foreign companies
  • title deed, notary, tax office, and SGK related procedures
  • bilingual contracts or legal documents when needed

Beyond Paperwork

I am also aware that many legal and bureaucratic processes in Türkiye may feel very different from what you are used to in your home country.

That is why I prefer explaining not only the legal procedure itself, but also how the system usually works in practice.

Sometimes understanding the culture behind the process matters as much as understanding the regulation itself.

You may be new to the system.

I am not.

And honestly, things usually become much easier once someone explains the terrain properly.
